PRIDE FLAG
It flew for the first time on June 25, 1978 in the sky over the city of San Francisco. This flag was commissioned by Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the United States, to Gilbert Baker, an artist and former soldier who worked as a drag queen.
